Yes, for those of you who agree with me on the issue of abortion?excuse me, murder of the unborn, it is not hard to make the leap to death panels for newborn babies. But could that happen in America?
First, consider the current occupant of the White House?s promotion of infanticide. Consider that the Democrat National Convention did not exclude infanticide and actually has a rabid audience for the murder of the unborn.
Now consider that America is well on her way to moving towards a health care system like that of the United Kingdom. ?Stop,? you exclaim. ?Obamacare is not socialized medicine,? you continue.
Well friend, Obamacare as it is not completely like the European system, yet. It has not gotten to the final goal, but is on target to do so. The final goal is a one payer system. It is a complete takeover of health care. Once that takes place you can forget about ?insurance.? There will be none to be found. You will be at the mercy of the state.
It has come to light that the ?glorious health care system? of the UK that the communists and socialists of our country have been promoting actually have death panels for newborn babies. That?s right, they are knowingly murdering infants.
The Daily Mail writes,
Sick children are being discharged from NHS hospitals to die at home or in hospices on controversial ?death pathways?.
Until now, end of life regime the Liverpool Care Pathway was thought to have involved only elderly and terminally-ill adults.
But the Mail can reveal the practice of withdrawing food and fluid by tube is being used on young patients as well as severely disabled newborn babies.
Again, it?s not a leap to move from the murder of the elderly to the murder of the most helpless among us. In fact, America is murdering its unborn which those who advocate it as a woman?s choice still have not told us when life begins.
According to an anonymous physician, who submitted his horrific experience to the British Medical Journal in an article titles How it feels to withdraw feeding from newborn babies, pulls back the lies surrounding the ugly face of death panels in the UK.
Parents who must give doctors permission to put their child on the ?pathway to death.? Parents! My God have mercy! Those entrusted to care the most, to provide and protect the blessings God has given them choose to collaborate with their doctors to murder their own children.
?I know, as they cannot, the unique horror of witnessing a child become smaller and shrunken, as the only route out of a life that has become excruciating to the patient or to the parents who love their baby,? the doctor writes. ?I reflect on how sanitized this experience seems within the literature about making this decision.?
Just in case you are one of those that attempts to argue that this is to keep the child from suffering, the doctor has news for you. ?Survival is often much longer than most physicians think. ?Parents and care teams are unprepared for the sometimes severe changes that they will witness in the child?s physical appearance as severe dehydration ensues.?
The emotional burden is not just borne by parents, but by the ?care team? or I should say ?lack of care? team, who monitor the process of the baby?s dying, describing it as ?an indescribable mixture of compassion, revulsion and pain.?
?Some say withdrawing medically provided hydration and nutrition is akin to withdrawing any other form of life support,? the physician continues. ?Maybe, but that is not how it feels. The one thing that helps me a little is the realization that this process is necessarily difficult. It needs to be.?
In addition, Bernadette Lloyd, a hospice pediatric nurse informed the Cabinet Office and the Department of Health concerning the death pathways for children.
She wrote, ?The parents feel coerced, at a very traumatic time, into agreeing that this is correct for their child whom they are told by doctors has only has a few days to live. It is very difficult to predict death. I have seen a ?reasonable? number of children recover after being taken off the pathway.?
?I have also seen children die in terrible thirst because fluids are withdrawn from them until they die,? she said.
?I witnessed a 14 year-old boy with cancer die with his tongue stuck to the roof of his mouth when doctors refused to give him liquids by tube,m? she continued. ?His death was agonizing for him, and for us nurses to watch. This is euthanasia by the backdoor.?
Does anyone remember Terry Schiavo? They did the exact, same thing to her. She was the 41-year-old Florida woman that was allowed to be starved to death under the watchful eye of the federal government, under President George W. Bush, and State Governor Jeb Bush. Before you argue that they didn?t do so and that was a court?s decision, ask yourself if it was right, not if it was legal. What is being allowed to happen to these babies was allowed to happen to Mrs. Schiavo. For thirteen days she was deprived of food, fed through a feeding tube, and water.
In the Schiavo case it was due to an unfaithful husband that didn?t want her around claiming that she would have wanted it that way. Contrast that with her loving parents that constantly attended to her and would have willingly took her home to care for her rather than see her face such wicked and evil deprivation of basic necessities.
A man once said, ?Unless we resolve this and understand that life is precious and we must protect life, we can?t protect liberty.?
If we do not settle the issue of when life begins (and that can only be consistently held to be at conception) in our own minds and in our country as a whole, we are not only looking at infanticide spreading rampant, but also euthanasia, and ultimately just anyone who we deem not worthy of living we will attempt to rationalize their murder just as in the case of Terry Schiavo.
