MUNICH (AP) -Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes says Dutch winger Arjen Robben is almost back to full fitness.
Heynckes told local television Tuesday that the injury-plagued Robben was "better" and that he ran for 30 minutes on Monday with "almost ... no complaints."
Heynckes said "now we have to see how his groin injury develops."
The coach highlighted the 27-year-old's importance to Bayern: "Arjen often decides games when he's fit. We especially need him for the difficult Champions League games coming up."
Robben has been beset by back and groin problems since Bayern's season began.
