Toughest Cowboy Presented by J?germeister Returns Bigger, Better ...

Second season of world?s toughest reality show airs nationwide on FSN.

Grit Rock Rodeo and AEG?s Toughest Cowboy Presented by J?germeister is sure to be the toughest reality show ever, whether on television or in person. Twelve cowboys will strap in for the most mentally and physically demanding rodeo competition on the planet, competing in three disciplines per night to win over 30 acres of beautiful prime Colorado Rocky Mountain real estate, called the J?ger Ranch.

The second season of the Toughest Cowboy competition will continue the Rodeo Revolution, doing something else no other rodeo has ever done. All rodeos are demanding, but the Toughest Cowboy events require its cowboys to compete in three gut wrenching, roughstock disciplines each night ? bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, and bull riding ? all in match play against one another. For those tough enough to make it to the Championship round, they will need to make an historic commitment to toughness and grit as they will compete and ride an unprecedented 6 times in one night!

Winning A Piece Of The American Dream

This season, the stakes are even higher than last year, with each of the competitors vying not only for the title of Toughest Cowboy, but also for a piece of the American Dream ? the deed to the J?ger Ranch in Colorado.

?We wanted to attract the best talent in all of rodeo to compete in Toughest Cowboy,? said Tommy Joe Lucia, Vice President of Grit Rock Rodeo. ?We knew there is one thing that every cowboy wants, a ranch, and together with our friends at J?germeister, we were able to make the ultimate top prize a reality.?

Attracting the Toughest Competitors

It?s that land that brought B.J. Schumacher into the competition this year. He is a bull rider by trade ? and a very good one at that ? he was the 2006 PRCA World Bull Riding Champion, and set a new earnings record in the process. That wasn?t enough, though, Schumacher knew that his rodeo career would not be complete without taking a shot at the Toughest Cowboy crown.

Also back this season is Bandy Murphy, the Toughest Cowboy defending champion. After capturing the title in 2007, the Weatherford, Oklahoma native is looking to keep the title in his hands and already has plans for what he wants to do with the J?ger Ranch.

Schumacher and Murphy are just two of the cowboys competing for the title of Toughest Cowboy Presented by J?germeister and a piece of the American Dream ? stay tuned to see who rides into the sunset to their very own ranch

Fans Witness the Rodeo Revolution Live

The drama and excitement of the live tournament competition begins on December 29 at the sparkling new Sprint Center in Kansas City Missouri. Through nine competitions, the season will conclude on February 16 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio when the new champion will be crowned.

By the championship round, each of the competitors will have participated in eight weeks of the most dangerous and physically demanding competition in all of rodeo. In addition, fans watching at home will have had the chance to get to know each of the cowboys, their stories and what makes each of them so unique.

The New Television Season

The 10-episode second season of Toughest Cowboy kicked off on January 4, 2008 and will be televised on FSN weekly in primetime (day and time depend on each affiliate) and then replayed the following Saturday at Midnight. Beginning with Episode 2, each tour stop will be televised and will take fans into the heart of the action to savor the triumph, suffer the anguish, and share the intensity of the ultimate challenge that is Toughest Cowboy Presented by J?germeister.

Corporate America Rallies Behind Toughest Cowboy

While J?germeister is the Presenting Sponsor of Toughest Cowboy, it is far from the only corporate partner for the series. Corporate America has responded to the unique competition and several major partners will each sponsor a ?cowboy? in Toughest Cowboy. The roster of sponsors also includes: Polaris, The Home Depot, Wrangler, Super Clean, FSN, Reelz Channel, RedCreekland.com, and Priefert Ranch Equipment.
